Portable DC Generators

The compact, lightweight AlphaGen generator is designed specifically for powering cable television, telecommunications, and broadband applications that do not have integrated generators as a primary component of the power system. The portable generator incorporates several technological advantages including: 36 or 48V selectable dual voltage output based on Permanent Magnet Generator (PMG) technology, 3000W of power, and oversized fuel tank for up to 20hrs of runtime at 25% load or 7.2hrs at 100% load. Additional features include a convenient front panel with a keyed on/off switch, output connector, output indicators, voltmeter, fuel valve and engine choke.

AC Power Generator-Emergency Inverter

APS models offer an alternative to gas generators - inexpensive without fumes, fuel, or noise. TrippLite APS units automatically sense and switch AC output between outside power (utility or generator) and battery power when no AC is available. Advanced 3-stage chargers provide fast battery recharge. LEDs monitor battery and load condition. Protection against over-charge and over-discharge ensures long service from batteries. High-effeciency output is frequency-controlled to support sensitive loads. Batteries are sold separately in Battery Section (442-50).
