Portable DC Generators

The compact, lightweight AlphaGen generator is designed specifically for powering cable television, telecommunications, and broadband applications that do not have integrated generators as a primary component of the power system. The portable generator incorporates several technological advantages including: 36 or 48V selectable dual voltage output based on Permanent Magnet Generator (PMG) technology, 3000W of power, and oversized fuel tank for up to 20hrs of runtime at 25% load or 7.2hrs at 100% load. Additional features include a convenient front panel with a keyed on/off switch, output connector, output indicators, voltmeter, fuel valve and engine choke.

AC Power Generator-Emergency Inverter

APS models offer an alternative to gas generators - inexpensive without fumes, fuel, or noise. Tripp Lite APS units automatically sense and switch AC output between outside power (utility or generator) and battery power when no AC is available. Advanced 3-stage chargers provide fast battery recharge. LEDs monitor battery and load condition. Protection against over-charge and over-discharge ensures long service from batteries. High-efficiency output is frequency-controlled to support sensitive loads. Batteries are sold separately in Battery Section (442-50).
