Alcatel OmniAccess APs

All Alcatel OmniAccess APs function as "thin" APs. Upper layer media access control (MAC) processing functions such as encryption and authentification are integrated into Alcatel OmniAccess WLAN switches, making Alcatel OmniAccess APs cost-effective and simple to deploy and manage. Alcatel OmniAccess AP can simultaneously service wireless users and act as wireless monitoring devices. This eliminates the need for a separate overlay of RF sensors to troubleshoot and optimize the wireless environment. The Alcatel OmniAccess APs work with the Alcatel OmniAccess 6000, 4324, 4308 and 4304 contoller/switches.

Alcatel OmniAccess 4300 Modules

The Alcatel 4324 is a stackable, 1U high, fixed configuration device that seamlessly integrates into any layer 2/layer 3 network without reconfiguration of the network. The 4324 provides 24 10/100 Mbps PoE ports for connecting access points, layer 2 switches, servers or computers. In addition, two Gigabit Ethernet uplinks allow the 4324 to be connected to the wired network.
