Theft Deterrent Ground Bars

Theft deterrent ground bars combine a reduction of copper with an increase in security to make them less valuable to a thief and harder to steal. The actual copper content of the bar is less than 4 lbs. and since the copper is tinned, it requires additional processing to recycle, further reducing it's scrap value. The complete kit also features mounting hardware. It's also designed to mount exothermically to secure surfaces at a communications site like 2-4" round metal poles (ice bridge posts) or flat metal surfaces. (Molds for exothermic attachment are sold separately. Flat plate mold is SKU 311867 and pipe mold SKU is 361437) The kit also features tamper resistant hardware which can only be removed with the included torx bit. Epoxy putty can be inserted into the hole for even greater security.

Lighter weight and tinned covering make it less attractive to thieves.	Tamper resistant hardware makes bar difficult to remove.
Specially designed extothermic molds secure it to the site.	Pattern - 5 rows of 7/16" in holes in a 5-die pattern with 3/4" spacing between adjacent holes. 56 total holes
