TESSCO was originally founded in 1952 as Barnhill & Associates, a manufacturer's representative owned and operated by the father of our current Chief Executive Officer, Robert B. Barnhill, Jr. Mr. Barnhill assumed control of the business in 1982, renaming it Towson Engineering Sales & Service, later shortened to TESSCO. We were incorporated in the state of Delaware in 1987.
