Tutorial: Registration and Log-In
TESSCO.com makes it easy to become a customer and/or register with your own login name and password. Here's how:
Become a Customer
NOTE: It may take until the next business morning for your account to be active.
Registration (for existing customers)
On the TESSCO.com homepage click on the "Register Now" link (in red text) on the right side of the page.
The first step of our registration process will ask if you are already a TESSCO customer. Select the radio button (in green, below) stating that you are already a customer. Then enter your email address at the bottom and click on the yellow "Register Me" button.
If your company has previously established a TESSCO account, please do NOT select a market (pointed with the pink arrow, below).
"Registration - Step 2 of 2" will prompt you for your name, account information, phone number, and desired username & password. For enhanced security we recommend using a unique username, such as your email address.
Plesae provide as much informaiton as possible - this will assist TESSCO in locating your registration request and existing account. Once you are done filling out the registration form, click "Register Me".
NOTE: User Name and Password are case sensitive.
After submitting your request, TESSCO.com will advise "You Are Almost Finished" and present two options:
You will also receive an automated email message asking you to log into TESSCO.com via an embeded login link (in the email message). This simply authenticates the email address included with your registration request.
Forgot your password?
No problem! It's very easy to reset your password and only takes a few minutes. Just do the following:
1. Enter your login name in the "User ID" field, then click on the "I forgot my password" link located beneath the password field.
2, A pop-up window will appear asking you to confirm the request. Click OK to proceed. TESSCO.com will send you a tempoaray password via e-mail and confirm that the e-mail has been sent.
3. Open your e-mail client (such as Outlook or Outlook Express) and look for an email from TESSCO@tessco.com . The subject line will read “Your new TESSCO.com password”. Open the email and copy the temporary password. The period shown at the end of this password is NOT part of the passwrod.
4. Next, go back to TESSCO.com and enter your login name and paste in the temporary password. After clicking on “login”, TESSCO.com will take you to our “reset forgotten password” page. Paste in the temporary password (again) in the first field, and then enter a “new” permanent password in the bottom two fields. Lastly, click on the yellow “>>” button.
You have now successfully reset your password and logged into TESSCO.com. Notice how the site welcomes you and shows your account number in the upper-right corner: Should you need additional assistance please call 1-800-508-5444 or you may send an e-mail
