Unavailable or Restricted ProductsUnavailable (Backordered) ProductsOne of the biggest enhancements to TESSCO.com is the ability to view the status of unavailable products. Not only can you see TESSCO’s estimated availability date, but also our confidence rating regarding each particular item. For more information, visit the Order Status Tutorial. Restricted ProductsSome products, such as phone repairs parts, are restricted and are not available to everyone. For more information about how to purchase a restricted item please contact your account manager. Discontinued ItemsIf you have added a discontinued item to your worksheet, you will be notified once you Confirm Price. An error message will appear on your worksheet stating which items have been discontinued (see green arrows below). If they have been discontinued but we still have enough inventory to meet your needs, no error message will be shown, and you will receive the products as normal. 

Non-Cancelable Non-Returnable Items (Special Orders)If an item is non-cancelable non-returnable, you will be notified in one or more sections with a product advisory in "Step 1of 2" (see highlights below): 
You will also be notified of special order status in step 2 of the Order Process (see highlight below). 
Customized Special Order and Tuned ItemsIf you place an order for a special item that needs to be tuned or otherwise customized, you will be prompted to enter more information on your TESSCO.com worksheet. Please see the Tune Configuration tutorial for more information. Antenna tuning fees apply to all orders when TESSCO is tuning an antenna for you. This modest $30 fee applies to each antenna tuned by TESSCO - effective June 1, 2008. Product customization (such as tuning antennas) will delay the delivery of your order. Please keep this in mind when ordering tuned items or any product where TESSCO is performing a value-added service.
