1122 Counter-Drug Program

The 1122 Program, which allows State and Local agencies access to more Federal Supply Service offerings, has been expanded to include additional schedules, including TESSCO's Hardware Superstore Schedule 51V and Scientific Equipment and Services Schedule 66.

Responding to Public Health Emergencies

There has been a limited policy change allowing state, local, territorial, and tribal governments purchasing with Federal grant funds in support of activities, to prevent and respond to Public Health Emergencies (PHEs), declared by the Secretary of Health and Human Services to purchase via all GSA Federal Supply Schedules. This new mandate is effective immediately.

Leased Line Replacement for Encypted TDM Circuits

There is a large installed base of data encryption devices that only offer a TDM uplink. However, they need not be a slave to leased TDM circuits and their recurring costs. Many customers use Pseudowire products from RAD, including the Airmux for wireless, or the IPmux for fiber, to transmit the encrypted data. This allows them to eliminate the recurring costs without having to replace the expensive encryption boxes.
