Band-It Stainless Steel Banding Is Ideal for Mounting Antennas and Enclosures to Round Poles

The Band-It type 316 stainless-steel strapping and buckles are specified for use in situations where corrosion is the major problem. They are used extensively in applications using disimilar metals, moist atmospheres and environments where they are subject to chemicals, salts, acids and high temperatures.

Another solution available is the stainless-steel "Scru-Seal" kit. These kits require only a screwdriver to tighten the clamps, allowing for quick and easy installation, while still providing excellent corrosion resistance.

Bluewave Series Antennas—Premier Yagi For Extreme SCADA Applications

The Bluewave BMYD890 from PCTEL is manufactured using high-strength 6061-T6 aluminum to withstand heavy ice, high wind and other harsh conditions. In addition, the entire antenna is anodized for appearance and corrosion resistance. All elements are welded to the boom and the dipole design has an integral feed line welded to the boom for extra strength and electrical conductivity. A heavy-duty clamp is supplied that easily permits horizontal or vertical polarization.
