Broadband Topology Design Services

TESSCO assists qualified customers with the design and configuration of virtually any broadband wireless network or system from indoor options in wireless LAN/WiFi, hot spots and mesh networks to outdoor solutions such as point-to-point and multipoint, free-space optics, SCADA and more. TESSCO reserves the right to charge an hourly engineering charge to create detailed network designs or documentation although up to 100% of these charges may be credited when the system is purchased.

DC Power-Integrated Rack Systems

Simplify telecom site power system design, installation and function with complete custom power rack systems by TESSCO. When you need site power systems design and an integrated set of DC products to complete your custom power rack system, you can rely on TESSCO.

Various systems are available to meet the low, medium, and high power requirements of Microwave, Broadband, Cellular, Dispatch and other wireless Network applications. Systems are assembled in a 7’ relay rack and fully tested, ready for rapid shipment directly to the network location. Every detail necessary for the design, assembly, system test and delivery of a fully integrated, ideally functional and reliable power system is provided:

Project Consultation: We undertake a comprehensive analysis of your project's power requirements; system voltages, amperages, battery back-up, load distribution, protection, monitoring and alarms.

Engineering and Design: Information gathered during initial consultation is used to calculate the necessary rectifier configuration and proper battery back-up system, voltage converters and rack accessories. A comprehensive project proposal is then submitted to you for approval with a detailed diagram of the proposed custom power system.

Rack Assembly: All components are installed and pre-wired into a 19" or 23" relay rack. Most power components and all power distribution panels, battery disconnects and other rack accessories are manufactured by NEWMAR, assuring high reliability and short lead times.

Testing: Each rack component undergoes rigorous "burn-in" testing individually, and the assembled rack system is again fully tested under various simulated site load and function conditions to ensure maximum reliability.

Documentation: Custom user manuals are provided with each system, consisting of detailed operation and troubleshooting instructions for each system component, complete schematic diagrams, and a wiring interconnect diagram of the system as a whole.

Shipment: Each rack system is rigidly secured into a custom-built shipping crate and trucked directly to your installation site.

After-Sale Support: A complete file, including detailed photos of the assembled system, is maintained at the factory in order to provide continuing in-house technical support of the system, as needed.
