Whether you manage your own wireless network or build and maintain systems for clients, you know demand for improved wireless signals is growing rapidly. As more customers use their wireless phones, they need enhanced reception in their offices and warehouses. And the spike in laptop usage mandates that wireless data signals be more robust as well.
iDAS: Bringing Cellular Coverage from the Outside In!
An indoor DAS (iDAS) is designed to deliver a single carrier, or multiple carriers, signals into a building where adequate signal strength is not present. The iDAS system starts with a signal source, either a carrier supplied base station or a bi-directional amplifier that receives signals from a nearby base station from roof mounted antennas. The signal travels through the building via coaxial or fiber optic cables. In a coax based iDAS, cable is connected directly from the signal source to the coverage antennas through the use of splitters and/or directional couplers. When the distances between the signal source and the coverage antennas is very long, coaxial cable could add too much loss to the system to be effective. In a fiber based iDAS, the signal source is connected to a converter that changes the RF to light and sends the signal over fiber optic cable to another device, that converts the light back to RF. The transmission from the "Head End" to the "Remotes" adds very little, if any, loss to the system. In most fiber based iDAS systems, the coverage antennas are connected to the "Remotes" with coaxial cable.

Market Applications
Government
Government agencies use a variety of wireless devices to stay in touch and access important data, and they must be able to use their cell phones, PDAs and laptops in their own offices as well as in other government buidlings. As more constituents demand fast access to government officials, and disaster response becomes a critical need, coverage solutions play a much larger role.
Public Safety
Police, fire, EMS, general administration and other public safety organizations continue to use public wireless networks more to augment their private radio systems. With the increasing standards of responsiveness required of public safety groups, their wireless coverage can't afford to be unreliable—inside or out.
Utilities and Energy Companies
Energy companies and utilities are working to become more efficient and enhance communication between field workers and their office colleagues. Reliable wireless coverage throughout their facilities helps accomplish this, and can also increase the response time of utility workers in emergencies and improves the safety and security of all employess in stairwells and parking garages.
Larger Offices and Businesses
Many white-collar workers now give out their wireless phones as their primary contact number, and millions are using PDAs and other data devices over public networks. VARs and carriers working with these companies must extend wireless coverage deep into office buildings, plants and other large spaces to make employees more productive.
The Wi-Ex cell phone signal boosters extends the coverage area for all cellular and PCS protocols for single or multiple users in homes and offices. Packages include everything you need—amplifier with adjustable positioning antenna, power supply, low-loss RG6 cable, outdoor-rated donor antenna and mounting hardware.
Wilson DB Repeater Kit
The DB Pro Cell Phone Signal Booster is Wilson's highest gain dual-band (800 & 1900 MHz) wireless amplifier for use in homes, offices and other buildings. The DB Pro significantly improves voice and data performance for multiple cell phones and data cards simultaneously, and works with all major North American cell phone carriers, which include both Cellular (824-894 MHz) and PCS (1850-1990 MHz) carrier frequency bands. This 62 dB Building Booster combines high performance with ease of installation.
Digital Antenna Dual-Band 50dB Repeater
A cost-effective solution to poor cellular reception inside homes, offices, dorm rooms and condominiums, the PowerMax personal repeater provides reliable and clear cell phone communication equivalent to the cell signal strength available outside the building. A simple do-it-yourself installation with no tools required allows the system to be installed anywhere.
Spotwave 5K Dual Band Adaptive Repeater
The Spotwave Wireless 104-00029-82-02 dual band adaptive repeater boosts wireless signals and ensures reliable coverage within the 800 MHz cellular and 1900 MHz PCS bands. This dual band amplifier is designed to enhance coverage in spaces up to 5,000 square feet. The SpotCell 250CR bi-directional amplifier works with CDMA or GSM systems and has a gain of 70 dB. The BDA composite output is +30 dBm. Connector type is F female.
Buildings up to 10,000 Sq. Feet
Cellphone-Mate Cellular/PCS Dual Band In-Building Amp
The Cellphone-Mate SureCall CM200WL-62 dual band repeater supports all cellphone handsets and service providers in the cellular (824 - 894 MHz) or PCS (1850 - 1990 MHz) frequency bands. The dual band repeater has a protection circuit to prevent damage to the bi-directional amplifier because of interference or improper installation. This dual band amplifier also features a BDA gain of 62 dB and composite output of +21 dBm. Connector type is FME male. Power supply is included.
The Cellphone-Mate SureCall CM200WL-62 dual band repeater extends cell signal in poor coverage areas by amplifying transmit and receive signals for stronger, more reliable voice and data transmission.
