LinkUPS™ Backup Power Systems for Wireless Networks

The New LinkUPS™ Outdoor Backup Power System by Ventev is specifically designed to provide both primary as well as uninterrupted, reliable standby power for critical SCADA, Surveillance, Point to Point, Point to Multi-Point and Mesh networking equipment in harsh environmental applications. The durable NEMA 3R weatherproof enclosure has ample room for installation of radio gear including proprietary PoE interface equipment and contains environmentally hardened AC-DC power circuitry rated for long life in freezing as well as sun baked environments.

Temperature compensated charge voltage ensures that back up batteries are ready when AC power fails and provides hours of back up for loads up to 100 watts.

Backup Power Systems for Security and Surveillance

The Novus Micro Secure 100 provides constant, reliable backup power for such applications as security cameras, surveillance systems, small key systems, and outdoor lighting. It comes in a NEMA 3R-rated outdoor fiberglass enclosure for severe weather conditions and can be wall mounted or pole mounted to allow positioning close to the security camera equipment.

With multiple outputs of 120-volts AC, 24-volts AC and 12-volts DC, this single unit is ideal for providing seamless standby power for multiple co-located surveillance sites.

Wi-Fi Solutions for Outdoor Battery Backup

Alpha’s FlexNet MPS48-7 series of multipurpose power supply platforms provides both primary and standby power for Cisco Wi-Fi routers and access points in outdoor applications. Integrating wireless radios with the radio-specific MPS48-7 standby battery power solution allows service providers to extend uninterrupted, reliable data and Wi-Fi broadband service to cities for public safety, municipal service, and city-wide hot-zone access.

TESSCO has done all the work to make product selection easy and fast. Simply select by radio model. These units will provide 48-volts of DC PoE power, diagnostics and network management information to the properly pre-paired Wi-Fi router. The single unit is suitable for both North America and international markets.
