I attribute our rapid growth to two main factors. First, TESSCO’s inventory system ensured the right accessories were on the shelves in our stores, so our customers found products they needed immediately – and even some products they didn’t know we carried. Secondly, TESSCO’s strong line of Bluetooth accessories has really hit the mark with our users.” Efficiency ImprovementsJoyce Dildine, Inventory and Purchasing Manager, says the new system greatly increases her groups’ efficiency and ability to manage a large number of stores. “Before, I had to analyze all the store inventory and sales data manually. I only had time to focus on a few stores and hope the others were keeping up with their reordering. Now TESSCO’s system does all the analysis for all the stores, and they automatically replenish what we sold, so I have time to work on other areas that help our customers.” Better Control of InventoryJeff went on to say that the new inventory management system has helped his company be more disciplined and in better control of the inventory. By letting him and his team look at the big picture of inventory and sales, they have gained tremendous insights into the way individual stores were operating.
