New—Solar Articulating Towers

The Solar Articulating Tower (SAT) allows one field technician to maintain the solar array without a ladder or climbing gear. The mast can be lowered and raised quickly with a drill motor or manually with a hand crank and installs quickly to a Dixie pre-cast foundation or similar bolt pattern. Cable management is free from any twisting, binding, or hang-ups.

Galvanized construction, positive locking control, and a vandal resistant security panel provide a durable tower that is safe, secure, and easily operated by a single person. The mast allows for an optional 400W wind generator that can be easily mounted to the structure for hybrid systems.

The new LinkUPS® outdoor backup power system by Ventev is specifically designed to provide both primary as well as uninterrupted, reliable standby power for critical signals, SCADA, surveillance, point-to-point, point-to-multipoint and mesh networking equipment in harsh environmental applications. The durable NEMA 3R weatherproof enclosure has ample room for installation of radio gear, including proprietary PoE interface equipment and contains environmentally hardened AC-DC power circuitry rated for long life in freezing as well as sun-baked environments.

Temperature-compensated charge voltage ensures that backup batteries are ready when AC power fails and provides hours of backup for loads up to 100 watts.

The Ritron Clean Cab Radio (RCCR) is designed with state-of-the-art RF technology to provide onboard voice communication for freight and transit railroad operations. The radio is available in both one- or two-piece remote head models and is fully compliant with the January 1, 2013 FCC mandate for narrowband operation. It supports wideband and narrowband operation and can be easily upgraded via a plug-in board to support digital communication using the NXDN digital standard at 6.25 KHz.
