Controllers

4300 Series

The Alcatel 4300 series controllers are stackable, 1U high, fixed-configuration devices that seamlessly integrates into a Layer 2 or Layer 3 wired network without requiring reconfiguration. There are several models with options providing 8 to 24 auto-sensing interfaces and supporting 4 to 48 Access Points. With seamless user mobility, rogue A/P detection and many other key features, these controllers are great for your smaller capacity needs.

6000 Series

When you need to extend your wireless coverage in larger buildings, the Alcatel 6000 series will get the job done. It has a 3U high, 4-slot chassis that seamlessly integrates into any layer2/layer3 wired network without requiring the reconfiguration of the network. The 6000 is fully redundant and supports up to six Gigabit Ethernet uplinks to the wired network. It provides up to 72 10/100 Mbps PoE ports if direct connectivity to access points, layer-2 switches, servers, or computers is required. In addition to having many of the other features of the 4300 series, the 6000s also support 48 to 512 access points.

Access Points

Once you've developed your WLAN controller strategy, you need high-quality and cost-effective access points to complete your network. All Alcatel OmniAccess APs function as "thin" APs and can simultaneously service wireless users and act as wireless monitoring devices, eliminating the need for a separate overlay of RF sensors. When you're running Alcatel OmniAccess WLAN controller/switches, the APs are simple to deploy because encryption and authentication are already integrated.
