    The OmniSwitch 7700 is built from the ground up for IP communications and converged environments, with advanced QoS capabilities and "power over Ethernet" for IP phones. It is designed for continuous operation, with two center slots dedicated to chassis management module (CMM). They are available in Alcatel-Lucent 7700 Swtitchredundant configurations with an extensive array of Ethernet interfaces and port densities. 

    The OmniSwitch 7700 is a 10 slot, modular chassis that supports an aggregate switch port capacity of 192 full duplex gigabit Ethernet. It provides a CMM fabric capacity of 64 Gbps.
