    Heliax Cable

HELIAX is the Andrew brand name that stands for the most complete, cost-effective, high performance coaxial cable systems in the world. Andrew HELIAX cable offers a full line of best-in-class products for antenna-to-base-station-radio solutions for wireless RF systems and cables, connectors, assemblies and accessories for terrestrial microwave, broadcast transmission line, and other RF subsystem applications.

HELIAX 75 ohm Air and Foam Dialectric Cables

Featuring the deepest corrugations in the industry for the best combination of electrical and mechanical advantages, these HELIAX coaxial cables and connectors minimize intermodulation generation by using solid conductors. HELIAX coaxial cables have a solid corrugated copper outer conductor to protect against electromagnetic interface and radio frequency interference (EMI and RFI). HELIAX coaxial cables offer excellent phase stability over temperature variations and with bending.

    HELIAX Elliptical Waveguide

HELIAX Elliptical Waveguide is the recommended feeder for most microwave antenna systems in the 3.4 to 26.5 GHz frequency range. The corrugated copper walls give HELIAX elliptical waveguide excellent crush strength and good flexibility. A rugged black polyethylene jacket provides protection during handling and installation.

Low VSWR HELIAX Air Dielectric Coaxial Cable

This unique air dialectric cable provides the pressure path to pressurizable microwave antenna feeds and are the recommended feeders for antennas with air-dielectric feeds for 2.7 GHz and below. 7/8", 1-5/8" and 2-1/4" are the sizes typically used. Cables and connectors are available for standard U.S., Canadian, or CCIR frequency band. Other frequency bands are available on special order.

    Virtual Air (AVA)

The Andrew Virtual Air (AVA) super low loss foam is another cable innovation from the inventors of foam corrugated cable. AVA7-50 is the lowest attenuation coaxial cable in the industry. Achieved by the use of premium, low density polyethylene dielectric material and highly conductive copper conductors which are best for better performance and long term reliability

HELIAX Aluminum Cable and Positive Stop Connectors

Andrew HELIAX® aluminum cable (Al series) and Positive Stop™ connectors are a complete solution for unmatched quality and longevity in aluminum RF transmission line systems. Working together, the combination of Andrew HELIAX aluminum cable and Positive Stop connectors can stop costly degradation before it starts, helping deliver performance and longevity that is unmatched by any aluminum transmission line installation using smooth wall cable or generic connectors.

    Cinta Cables

Andrew Cinta Cables cover the entire Radio Frequency (RF) footprint for applications that connect the world: mobile phones, in-building, E911, unlicensed band, mobile antennas, satellite antennas, terrestrial microwave, Wi-Fi, broadband, medical, military, and air traffic control.  Cinta braided cables are constructed with the highest quality copper, aluminum, and polyethylene materials. Andrew braided cables are compatible with industry standard connectors, tools, and other needed accessories.

    Radiax

RADIAX slotted coaxial cables solve wireless communication problems in confined areas, such as buildings and tunnels, functioning as a continuous distributed antenna. RADIAX is a coaxial cable with carefully controlled slots in the outer conductor that allows RF signals to be coupled from and into the cable uniformly along the entire length of cable.

RADIAX cable is an excellent tool for communications in buildings where the potential for RF blockage of point-source antennas due to obstructions is high and where multiple services such as cellular, PCS, paging, and safety/emergency communications are required.

RADIAX cable has been tested and proven effective in building environments for all current modulation schemes, from narrow-band FM to digital GSM to CDMA.

Andrew offers RADIAX cable types for wideband distribution or optimized for specific frequency bands. Andrew manufactures high performance radiating cables specifically optimized for the cellular, PCS, and third generation frequency bands.

    Cable Assemblies

    SureFlex Cable Assemblies

Andrew SureFlex Cable Assemblies use the patented connector attachment process of SureFlex cable assemblies that features an Andrew-exclusive factory-automated attachment technique that uses solder on both the inner and outer conductors. This technique provides excellent electrical performance, absolute weatherproofing, exceptional stability, and accurate pin depth every time.

    Connectors

    HELIAX Connectors

Andrew HELIAX® connectors are designed for fast, accurate installation and to ensure system integrity in the harshest of outdoor environments. Andrew provides three families of connectors: our standard HELIAX® connectors, OnePiece™ connectors, and RingFlare™ connectors.

    OnePiece™ Family of Connectors

OnePiece connectors save time and money. System engineers, installers, and purchasing personnel all benefit from the advanced design of OnePiece connectors. The captivated, preset inner contact pin and patented clamping mechanism provide lower IM and attenuation and exceptional mechanical reliability. One-step installation is faster, easier, and more precise. OnePiece connectors are priced lower than most standard connectors.

    Positive Stop Family of Connectors

Revolutionary Positive Stop connectors for HELIAX® corrugated coaxial cables require no special tools or torque wrenches, eliminating both guesswork and time consuming measurements. Using standard wrenches and in less than one rotation, Positive Stop connectors give the installer a clear visual and mechanical verification of a correct fit, sealing out water and sealing in excellent electrical performance. The connectors' easy verification eliminates the need to control torque levels and provides consistent attachment integrity and electrical performance.
Positive Stop connectors are waterproof to IP66 and IP68, even unmated. Positive Stop connectors fit Andrew HELIAX® AL Series aluminum, AVA Virtual Air™, and traditional Andrew RF transmission line cables.

    RingFlare Family of Connectors

Fast-fitting RingFlare connectors are available in a variety of interface types for a large selection of HELIAX® LDF series cables. The RingFlare connector is a simple, two-piece threaded connector with a captivated one-piece inner contact pin, factory set to the correct depth. RingFlare connectors are completely weatherproof and field proven. With fewer components and attachment procedures, the RingFlare also offers fast installation. 7-16 DIN male, 7-16 DIN female, N-male, and N-female connectors are available for most HELIAX LDF style cables.

    Standard Connectors

Andrew HELIAX® standard connectors are designed for fast, accurate installation and to ensure low IMD, low VSWR, and system integrity in the harshest of outdoor environments.
