Why AvaLAN for your edge devices?

Small and many channels. AvaLAN radios feature small 2 MHz channels; 58 non-overlapping channels for 5.8 GHz and 12 for the 900 MHz.
AvaLAN pushes maximum power through these small channels via high dBi gain and extremely high receive sensitivity levels. The data rate does not drop over long distances.
Frequency intelligence. If the packet error rate increases due to interference, the radio autonomously changes channels to find a quieter slice of spectrum. Downtime during this change is measured in milliseconds – less than a frame per second.
Exceptionally easy install. Radios can be either transceivers or receivers.
Very low cost. The link list price is less than $2,200.
Extremely low power draw. Transmit = 1.7 Watts / Receive = 0.8 Watts

AvaLAN Wireless 900 MHz Transceivers

AW900xTR Radios are now IP addressable, with remote configuration & diagnostic tools, and support multiple IP addresses at each remote node. The AW900xTR product line allows you to build a long-range, non-line-of-sight, point-to-multipoint wireless Ethernet solution that can enable fringe IP devices, including IP access control readers, SCADA clients, bio-scanners, printers, PCs, VoIP phones, point-of-sale devices, digital signage, or Internet kiosks.
With ultra-long range and non-line-of-site capabilities, they can easily penetrate up to both 1,500ft of foliage or 10 building walls and have industrial-grade temperature ranges. They operate up to 12 access points—each on its own non-overlapping channel (up to 192 subscriber units across a given site with 16 active clients per access point).
