    EMR Corporation was founded in 1980 as an OEM supplier of ferrite and hybrid devices to the land mobile communications and broadcast industries.

    EMR's product line includes a line of receiver pre-amplifiers, hybrid dividers and amplifiers in various bands for up to 250 watts output power. They also offer a complete line of antenna site and mobile application filtering products covering the R.F. spectrum from 30 MHz to 2.8 GHz.

    In an effort to provide our customers with tuned filter products in the shortest period of time, TESSCO has brought a wide selection of EMR cavities, duplexers and multicouplers into our distribution centers. Factory trained technicians will tune your choice of product to the exact operating frequency you need.

    Factory Tuned Product

    Some filter products are tuned during the manufacturing process or require frequency sensitive components that make field tuning difficult. Combiners, isolators, preselectors and mobile duplexers are examples. These items are all available on a special order basis. TESSCO works closely with EMR to make sure that your filter needs are delivered in the fastest possible timeframe.

    New Product Innovations

    EMR has developed two products to help speed deployment of multiple low power simplex or duplexed radios. The “SFR1-50” series combiners allow 2 to 8 simplex radios to be combined to a single antenna. They are available in 154-174, 406-512 and 736-869 MHz frequency bands.

    The “FR20” series combining systems allow for 2 to 5 duplexed channels to be combined to one single antenna. Each model includes a transmitter combiner, receiver multicoupler and a duplexer. It is available in a 154-174 and 350-650 MHz version. Transmit to receive spacing must be 5 MHz and the transmit and receive passbands are limited to 2 MHz.
