NMO High Frequency Mounts

After inventing the original NMO mount in the early 1970’s, Larsen has continued to set the standard for NMO antenna products. Antennas operating above 1,700 MHz require a better match than the traditional NMO mount. To meet this requirement, we have redesigned our NMO mount to include a variety of innovative features such as:

Low frequency and high frequency performance: Simply pull the center pin to convert from low frequency to high frequency applications. Pulling the center pin creates a coax-type connection that is optimal for high frequency applications. The larger center contact pin provides for additional strength against downward compression during low frequency installations, resulting in better low frequency VSWR.

High-quality components such as gold plated conductors and precision tooled body parts.

Fully sealed solder connections.

Available for thick surface applications up to 1/2” thickness using a standard 3/4” hole. Includes a fixed “stop” which registers the proper height for mount to antenna interface and an adjustable nut for securing the grip to the vehicle.

Available in magnetic and mirror bracket configurations.

GPS Antennas from Larsen

Larsen offers a complete line of GPS antennas designed for asset tracking and AVL applications — including single and multi-band options. These antennas are intended for use in trucking, commercial fleet, utility, public safety, search and rescue, GIS and survey and mapping markets. Larsen makes a GPS antenna for virtually any application. The small footprints and low profiles make for more flexible mounting options.

PCMCIA Card Cable Assembly Options

Larsen offers several multi-band options covering at least Cellular and PCS frequencies. They are designed to be used in conjunction with Larsen’s PCMCIA card cable assemblies for extended wireless access. The most common assemblies used for most PCMCIA cards are the R284L3403005 and R284L34003. These Larsen products are for mobile use for extended coverage for today’s dual-band phones. The antennas are manufactured with premium materials and state-of-the-art electrical designs to provide lower losses and better reception.
