4.9 GHz Antenna Solutions

Since rollout of the 4.9 GHz band, Larsen has responded by developing a family of 4.9 GHz antennas for mobile, in-building and base station applications. Larsen’s products include a full line of products for all communications bands. 

The 4.9 GHz product line consists of NMO high frequency mounts for emergency vehicles, as well as directional and omni directional panels and radome omnis for outdoor applications. 

Larsen also has a unique line of “dual/wide band” products designed to offer a complete indoor coverage solution. These multi-band antennas come in several form factors and cover the entire 2.4-2.5 GHz and 4.9-5.9 GHz bandwidths.

GPS Combi Whip Antennas

Larsen offers a line of GPS antennas, including VHF/GPS, UHF/GPS and Cellular/GPS dual band combi whips. Larsen Combi Whip Antennas (GPSCW) have an active GPS module and operate at 5 V DC. The GPSCW series are direct mount antennas requiring a 5/8” hole and include die cut double-sided tape for secure mounting directly to the vehicle surface.

VHF/UHF Multi Band Antennas

Larsen offers a selection of multi band antennas which provide excellent performance for use with VHF/UHF amateur frequencies.  Larsen dual band antennas are factory pre-tuned to guarantee optimum performance with no tuning required. 

NMO150/450C is factory tuned for 150-154/450-460 MHz (3.8/5.2 dBi gain). The NMO150/450/800 tri-band scanner antenna covers 150-165/450-470/806-940 MHz (unity gain). The NMO2/70 series of factory-tuned dual band (144-148/440-450 MHz) antennas are designed for 2m/70cm amateur frequencies.

Stealth Blade Antenna

The Stealth Blade Antenna utilizes printed circuit technology to provide 2.14 dBi performance and superior impedance bandwidth.

This Tri-band SMR/Cellular/PCS antenna with stealth blade technology provides solid unity gain performance in a discrete design.The antenna is designed with end exit coax to be mounted in the upper corner of the windshield inside the vehicle. It's terminated with a FME female connector.

NMO High Frequency Mounts

After inventing the original NMO mount in the early 1970’s, Larsen has continued to set the standard for NMO antenna products. Antennas operating above 1,700 MHz require a better match than the traditional NMO mount. To meet this requirement, we have redesigned our NMO mount to include a variety of innovative features such as:

Low frequency and high frequency performance: Simply pull the center pin to convert from low frequency to high frequency applications. Pulling the center pin creates a coax-type connection that is optimal for high frequency applications. The larger center contact pin provides for additional strength against downward compression during low frequency installations, resulting in better low frequency VSWR.

High-quality components such as gold plated conductors and precision tooled body parts.

Fully sealed solder connections.

Available for thick surface applications up to 1/2” thickness using a standard 3/4” hole. Includes a fixed “stop” which registers the proper height for mount to antenna interface and an adjustable nut for securing the grip to the vehicle.

Available in magnetic and mirror bracket configurations.
