Pelican 0450 Mobile Tool Chest
The U.S. Army tasked Pelican with building a mobile tool chest to house tools for its maintenance engineers. Rapid deployment to harsh environments is common; arriving with your tools intact and fully functional is mission critical.
Over a two year period of intensive design, research and testing, Pelican Products built the world's toughest mobile tool chest for use by the U.S. Armed Services. Over 70 tests were required, including water submersion, extreme temperature tests and drop tests from five feet fully loaded. The 0450 pasted all of them.

Pelican Cases
The cell-core construction built into all Pelican Protector Cases help them keep sensitive equipment safe and dry in some of the most extreme conditions on Earth. To ensure easy and immediate access, the cases feature double-throw latches that have been tested to withstand 400 pounds, but open with a light pull. Additional standard features include a lid equipped with a polymer o-ring for a dust/waterproof seal, stainless steel padlock protectors and a moisture-preventing, pressure-balancing, automatic Gore-Tex® purge valve. Proprietary customizable Pick N' Pluck™ foam is also standard in most models.

The Only Flashlights and Cases Tough Enough for the LAPD!
In a rare collaboration between public and private sectors, the City of Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) has partnered with Pelican Products to develop the 7060 LED as the standard issue tactical/patrol flashlight for all its officers. The Pelican 7060 LED light employs rechargeable Lithium-Ion batteries and new dual switch technology that allows the light to be activated by either a body-mounted patrol switch or a tail-mounted tactical switch. The dual switches, allows the user to grip the light in several positions and still control activation.

Pelican 9450 — Remote Area Lighting System
The 9450 Remote Area Lighting System combines Pelican's tough 1510 carry on case with 16 x 1 watt Luxeon LEDs mounted in an aluminum heat sink. All items are stored inside the case and assemble in minutes. The aluminum pole extends to a height of 83" to provide 1280 lumens of light for any area. The rechargeable battery has 9 hours of life at maximum output tailing off to low light level at hour 17. The diffuser (included) can be mounted to change the beam from a focused spot to a diffused beam.
