Pelican lights are nearly indestructible and constructed of the toughest engineering-grade polymers known to man.

Pelican lamps are among the most intense on the market (Xenon, Halogen and LED). Standard design features include an umbrella valve that alleviates hydrogen gas buildup; anti-shock battery protection systems to ensure proper connection; and polarity guard trays to ensure proper battery installation.

When you go out on the job, you'll want a light that's safe just about anywhere and Pelican lights deliver in a big way.

The majority of Pelican lights are UL (Underwriter Laboratories) approved for Class 1, Div. 1, which means that in a tight situation, if you switch it on around incendiary gases or open electricity, they won't cause an explosion or start a new fire.

Pelican Cases

The cell-core construction built into all Pelican Protector Cases help them keep sensitive equipment safe and dry in some of the most extreme conditions on Earth. To ensure easy and immediate access, the cases feature double-throw latches that have been tested to withstand 400 pounds, but open with a light pull. Additional standard features include a lid equipped with a polymer o-ring for a dust/waterproof seal, stainless steel padlock protectors and a moisture-preventing, pressure-balancing, automatic Gore-Tex purge valve. Proprietary customizable Pick N' Pluck foam is also standard in most models.

The Only Flashlights and Cases Tough Enough for the LAPD!

In a rare collaboration between public and private sectors, the City of Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) has partnered with Pelican Products to develop the 7060 LED as the standard issue tactical/patrol flashlight for all its officers. The Pelican 7060 LED light employs rechargeable Lithium-Ion batteries and new dual switch technology that allows the light to be activated by either a body-mounted patrol switch or a tail-mounted tactical switch. The dual switches, allows the user to grip the light in several positions and still control activation.

The 9450 Remote Area Lighting System combines Pelican's tough 1510 carry on case with 16 x 1 watt Luxeon LEDs mounted in an aluminum heat sink. All items are stored inside the case and assemble in minutes. The aluminum pole extends to a height of 83" to provide 1280 lumens of light for any area. The rechargeable battery has 9 hours of life at maximum output tailing off to low light level at hour 17. The diffuser (included) can be mounted to change the beam from a focused spot to a diffused beam.
