PolyPhaser has released a new line of straight gas tube surge protection products under the SpikeGuard™ brand. 4.9 Public Safety Surge Protection

The construction of the PolyPhaser AL-LSXM series has allowed surge protection to be utilized in mission critical applications such as 4.9 public safety. The AL-LSXM has a high degree of surge immunity, doesn’t have a finite life span like gas tube alternatives, and has excellent RF characteristics throughout the frequency band.

Since the AL-LSXM is fully weatherized and lightweight it can de deployed in locations that have minimum access and do not receive periodic maintenance such as rooftops, outdoor wall mounts, and tower-top sites. These characteristics make the AL-LSXM the prime candidate as a primary lightning protector for customers looking for the ultimate protection of their 4.9 public safety system.

GX Series GPS DC-Pass Protector for Sensitive Equipment

The PolyPhaser GX series is a DC-pass protector in the 800MHz to 2,500MHz range designed to protect sensitive tower-top electronics such as tower-mounted amplifiers, GPS antennas, power boosters and anything else that receives a DC voltage on the center pin of the coax.

SX Series High-Powered UMTS, CDMA, GSM Protector

The PolyPhaser SX series are DC-blocked protectors for high-powered applications from 800MHz to 2,500MHz and low-powered applications between 2GHz and 6GHz. The SX is available in 7/16in DIN, as well as, 'N' connectors and has low return loss and insertion loss in addition to an industry low let through voltage.
