TerraWave now offers two new lines of premium antennas designed to be mounted above the ceiling tile.  Each antenna consists of a a high-performance circuit design, Flame Retardant 4 (FR-4) rated material and plenum-rated UL94-V0 pigtails, making them excellent fire-resistant above ceiling tile mounted antennas intended to make the wireless network virtually invisible to its users.

TerraWave’s 802.11n above-ceiling multiple-input, multiple-output (MIMO) omnidirectional antennas are specifically designed to operate with the Cisco 1252 Access Point (AP) and other manufacturer's access points (APs).  The three new antennas feature an innovative three-in-one or six-in-one solution: three or six antennas arranged in one unit that mount above the ceiling tile.

TerraWave’s above-ceiling mounted spatial diversity antennas offer a convenient two-in-one or four-in-one solution: two 2.4 GHz 3 dBi or two dual band 2.4/5 GHz 3 dBi diversity antennas in a one unit.  These solutions allow engineers to simplify deployments by using only one antenna for 2.4 GHz APs or dual band APs.

The enclosures are designed to offer the Cisco 1252 AP protection from corrosion, dust, rain, extreme temperatures and unauthorized access or inadvertent contact with the controls and wiring located inside the enclosure.

The enclosures include solid or clear doors and key or latch locks options. Additionally the enclosures can be purchased with six holes for jumpers for the Cisco 1252 AP or without holes when deployed with TerraWave’s new Dual Band 2.4/4.9-5.825 GHz 2/3 dBi Non-Articulating MIMO Rubber Duck Antenna.
