Ground Test Remote Monitoring

Ventev GTRM 100 Ventev’s GTRM 100 is a small, easy-to-install monitoring device that connects to your site’s grounding system creating its own monitoring circuit. When the circuit is interrupted, an alert message will notify the NOC through an Ethernet or contact closure connection. The GTRM 100 was specifically designed to be a smart, simple, economical, and reliable monitoring solution to increase the site manager’s awareness of potential catastrophic failures. In April 2008, when the tornadoes were threading Jackson, Mississippi, many residents were not alerted to the severe weather because five tornado warning sirens didn't work. The reason: the sirens' copper wiring had been stolen. Late last year, vandals removed 300 feet of cooper wire from a Federal Aviation Administration tower in Ohio, threatening to interrupt communication between in-flight aircraft and air traffic controllers. Thefts of cooper are on the rise in the United States, leading police to establish a special detail aimed at combating them. These copper thieves threaten U.S. infrastructure.

New! Superior Design in WiMAX Communication Cabinets

Considered the workhorse of the WiMAX industry, the LOR46481300AC enclosure solution from Ventev’s LinkUPS line of outdoor power systems has a superior design in WiMAX communication cabinets. A complete, radio-ready power system with 48-volt DC, 1300-watt (650 watts N+1) hot-swap rectifier system is installed with a separate battery box holding four NSB 100 FT batteries. Constructed of aluminum which is rigid as steel, yet lighter than the old, heavy, steel-constructed cabinets, this enclosure is NEMA rated at Class 250 Type 4X, and offers the protection needed for any severe outdoor environment. The system is constructed from a DDB Unlimited enclosure made of 0.125-inch Alumiflex material and comes with an additional 0.125-inch Alumishield top cover, fully protecting your equipment from falling ice and solar penetration. This enclosure is 30 x 25 x 25 inches with the ultimate security provided by a three-point locking system and NEMA stainless-steel padlocking handle. Standard features include front- and rear-sealed doors, a 2400 BTU HVAC unit with 400 watts of heat built in, 60-amp main load center with interior 110-volt outlets, 30-amp external generator plug, 19-inch alodine-coated rack rails, and insulation throughout the interior.

These radio-ready outdoor power solutions are pre-assembled and shipped complete for rapid installation. The durable, rust-proof NEMA 4X weatherproof enclosures have ample room for “Click-In” installation of radio gear and control equipment on pre-installed DIN rails. The enclosures are available in four sizes. A full line of accessories are offered.
