What is a Mobile Amplifier?

A mobile amplifier is a device that will take a weak RF signal, increase the power of the signal, and retransmit it to a phone, radio, or another antenna. When there is no signal, an amplifier has nothing to amplify; you must have some signal for an amplifier to work.
