5GVerizon has expanded its 5G Home Internet service to more customers in certain areas of Denver, Atlanta, Dallas, and San Jose, making the service now available in parts of 12 markets across the U.S.
Verizon’s new 5G Home Internet service touts ultra-fast speeds for customers working from home, attending school remotely, or simply just streaming movies and shows. The offering utilizes Verizon’s millimeter-wave network to provide download speeds up to 1 Gbps (depending on location), with typical download speeds of 300 Mbps, and upload speeds around 50 Mbps. Along with super-fast speeds, Verizon notes the hardware features a greater antenna range, a sleek and simplified design, and augmented reality for customers to use for a simple do-it-yourself setup.
The 5G Home Internet service is now available in the following locations:

Detroit, MI
Minneapolis, MN
Chicago, IL
Houston, TX
Sacramento, CA
Dallas, TX
Indianapolis, IN
San Jose, CA
