TRANSTECTOR’s AC surge protector / arrester provides overvoltage protection for your equipment and supports long-term system reliability. It does so by absorbing high amounts of transient energy while maintaining a low clamping voltage. It helps prevent damage from VAC overvoltage that can be caused by lightning surge and other strong electrical power spikes.

The transient voltage suppressor / TVSS protection device can act as a lightning surge protector / arrestor as well as an AC electrical overvoltage spike surge protection device.

Single-phase surge protector din-rail for lightning protection and other spikes in electrical power has a maximum amperage of 7 kA. While the industrial AC electrical / lightning SPD is rated at 7 kA on 120V.
