Dave Eckelbarger joined Tessco in July 2023 as the Chief Executive Officer. He is also currently serving as the CEO of Alliance HoldCo. Mr. Eckelbarger has 30 years of senior leadership experience across scaled distribution businesses in multiple industries. Prior to joining Tessco and Alliance HoldCo., Mr. Eckelbarger was the President of Brenntag Pacific from 2018 to 2022. Prior to this, he has held numerous leadership roles in a variety of functional areas for companies including Distribution International, Stericycle, Safety-Kleen, and more.
Mr. Eckelbarger received a bachelor’s degree in Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point and served in the United States Army with the 3rd Ranger Battalion and 82nd Airborne Division. He subsequently attended Harvard Business School where he received an MBA in Business Administration and Management.
David Young
Chief Financial Officer
David Young originally joined Tessco in 1999, and after some time away, made his return in July 2023 to his previously held role as Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Young also served as Chief Financial Officer at Catalyte then Arena Analytics before rejoining the Tessco team. Mr. Young received a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the Loyola University Maryland Sellinger School of Business and Management. He subsequently attended Harvard Business School where he completed the Advanced Management Program.
David Strauss
Chief Revenue Officer
David originally joined Tessco in 2016 serving as the Vice President of National Carrier Sales & Business Development. And, after some time away, Mr. Strauss saw his return to Tessco in April 2024 in a new role with Alliance Holdco, serving as the Chief Revenue Officer. Prior to joining Alliance Holdco, Mr. Strauss was most recently Senior Vice President and General Manager of NAI’s Telecom Division. He had an 11-year career with Radio Frequency Systems (RFS) serving Regional Manager, Product Manager for Antennas during the launch of 2G systems in the United States, Contracts Manager, Sales Director, and eventually VP of Key Account Sales. He also spent nearly 14 years at CommScope, leading business development throughout the North and Central American region, and eventually took over all wireless sales as well as the Key Account Sales team.
Following his original four-year tenure with Tessco, Mr. Strauss joined ACE Technologies as SVP of Sales North America where he then took on the role of President of the Americas and Europe and became a Director on the Board of ACE Antenna.
Jon Cox
Chief Operating Officer
Jon Cox joined Tessco in December 2024 as Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Cox is a seasoned leader with over 25 years of distribution experience. He has experience working in several industries, including food & beverage, home goods, pharmaceuticals, consumer electronics, and facilities supplies. He has worked with private equity, publicly traded, and private companies. During his leadership journey, Mr. Cox has led large distribution networks, sold to top corporate teams, managed hundreds of millions of inventory dollars, while finding creative solutions to produce strong financial results in highly regulated and complex industries.
Most recently, Mr. Cox worked at BradyPlus, a specialty distributor where he led teams with responsibilities for purchasing, inventory control, transportation, distribution operations, safety, and network optimization.
Ram Sekaran
Chief Information Officer
Ram Sekaran joined Tessco in December 2025 as the Chief Information Officer. Mr Sekaran brings over 20 years of global IT leadership experience to his role and is known for aligning technology investments with business strategy and financial discipline, delivering measurable value through modernization, automation, and enterprise-wide transformation. Prior to joining Tessco, Mr. Sekaran held leadership roles at Music & Arts/Guitar Center, TBC Corporation, World Fuel Services, and Iron Mountain, leading large-scale ERP consolidations, cloud and data modernization, GenAI adoption, and digital transformation across multi-brand and multi-country organizations.
Mr. Sekaran holds executive education credentials from Stanford Graduate School of Business and London Business School, a Master of Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the University of Madras.
Tammy Ridgley
Senior Vice President, Sales Enablement
Tammy Ridgley joined Tessco in 1995 and currently serves as Senior Vice President, Sales Operations, Procurement, and Marketing. In her role, she works closely with the best suppliers in the industry to build strong partnerships, go-to-market strategies, and deliver supply chain services. Those solutions are then integrated to meet customer needs across our broad customer channels. Previously, she held several leadership positions in Sales, Program Management, and Product Management.
Outside of her day-to-day responsibilities at Tessco, Ms. Ridgley also serves on the Board of Directors at the Community College of Baltimore County (CCBC) Foundation as the Chair of the Board of Affairs Committee, and at the World Trade Center Institute (WTCI) as a member of the Women Spanning the Globe Program Committee and Governance Committee. Ms. Ridgley attended the University of Baltimore.
Ryan Smith
Vice President, Human Resources
Ryan Smith joined Tessco in 2022 and currently serves as Vice President, Human Resources. Prior to joining Tessco, Mr. Smith began his career in an HR position with a grocery distributor, earning multiple promotions throughout his tenure with the organization. He then moved on to various HR leadership roles within the IT and government contracting spaces. With his unique combination of distribution, IT, and government sales experience, Tessco was a perfect fit! Mr. Smith received a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Mary Washington as well as an MBA from the University of Baltimore and Towson University.
Kelly Mavias
Vice President, National Carrier Sales & Business Development
Kelly Mavias is the Vice President of Sales for the Carrier Ecosystem at Tessco. She has been with Tessco for 13 years, starting as a Program Manager for the first 10 years, followed by her role as leader of the Program Management team. For the past three years, Ms. Mavias has been part of the Sales Leadership team. She is focused on building and executing on a strategy that delivers continuous growth within the carrier market.
Jon Mykrantz
Vice President of Commercial Sales
Jon Mykrantz joined Tessco in September 2025 and currently serves at the Vice President of Commercial Sales. Jon is a proven sales and business leader with nearly three decades of experience driving revenue growth, building high-performing teams, and leading enterprise sales strategy in the wireless and connectivity industries.
Prior to joining Tessco, Jon most recently served as Vice President of Sales at Wilson Connectivity, the nation’s leading manufacturer of cellular signal amplification technology and private 5G solutions, where he was instrumental in expanding enterprise adoption and integrating new offerings following the Zinwave acquisition. Previously, he spent 13 years at CommScope, where he rose to Vice President of Sales for North America, overseeing DAS, small cell, and Ruckus wireless solutions, as well as earning recognition as Coach of the Year.
His earlier leadership roles at Tripp Lite and Motorola further highlight his ability to scale revenue, cultivate key carrier and enterprise relationships, and launch innovative programs that delivered significant cost savings and margin growth. With a foundation in industrial engineering and a career marked by consistent quota achievement and transformative sales results, Jon brings a unique blend of technical insight, strategic vision, and customer-centric leadership.
Michele Polanco
Vice President, Supply Chain
Michele Polanco joined Tessco in 2025 and currently serves as Vice President, Supply Chain, bringing more than 25 years of global supply chain and progressive leadership experience in multiple industries. Her expertise includes customer logistics, distribution, and supply planning. Prior to joining Tessco, Ms. Polanco held various supply chain leadership roles with Frito-Lay Inc., Stanley Black & Decker, and Campbell’s Soup. Most recently, Ms. Polanco led teams responsible for strategic procurement at Under Armour.
Ms. Polanco received a bachelor’s degree in Business Logistics from Penn State University and an MBA from Loyola University.
Steve Marshner
Group VP, CFD Systems Engineering, Facilities, & QMS
Steve Marshner joined Tessco in 2000 and currently serves as Group VP, CFD Systems Engineering, Facilities, & QMS. Prior to his current position, Mr. Marshner was a project manager and plant engineer. For 17 years, he focused on developing the Tessco’s Warehouse Management Systems and the associated third party and middleware software systems.
Previously, he was a production manager and plant engineer for a decorative injection-molding and assembly company specializing in automotive and commercial markets. Prior to that position, Mr. Marshner was a test engineer for a local R&D research firm specializing in smoke screening systems for the U.S. Army.
Justin Seda
Group Vice President, Corporate Controller
Justin Seda joined Tessco in 2021 and currently serves as Group Vice President, Corporate Controller. Prior to Tessco, Mr. Seda worked for two years at Personal Genome Diagnostics as assistant controller and six years in public accounting at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC). Mr. Seda holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Towson University and is currently pursuing his MBA at Loyola University Maryland.
Anu Gupta
Group Vice President, E-Commerce
Anu Gupta joined Tessco in 2021 and currently serves as Group Vice President, E-Commerce. In her role, Ms. Gupta leads the team to build industry leading B2B E-Commerce capabilities that deliver accretive economics, improved operating margin, increased brand awareness, and industry growth. She is responsible for Tessco’s online business model, top-line revenue, and the profitability of the e-commerce channel.
Previously, Ms. Gupta held numerous leadership positions globally in E-commerce, digital transformation, and category management. Ms. Gupta holds a bachelor’s degree in Commerce and a master’s degree in Business Administration.
Andrew Sapitowicz
Group Vice President, Business Analytics & PMO
Andrew Sapitowicz joined Tessco in 2015 and currently serves as Group Vice President, Business Analytics and PMO. In his career at Tessco, Mr. Sapitowicz has held several roles within the Vendor Management organization and now leads a cross-functional organization made up of the Program Management, Pricing, Analytics, and Product Execution teams. Mr. Sapitowicz received bachelor’s degrees in Finance and Accounting and Information Systems from Virginia Tech.
Thomas Callahan
Group Vice President, Infrastructure, Security, & Operations
Tom Callahan originally joined Tessco in 2005, and after a short time away, made his return in 2022 and currently serves as Group Vice President, Infrastructure, Security, & Operations. Previously, Mr. Callahan was at PDI Technologies, where he was responsible for the product development and implementation of a managed security services solution. Before that, Mr. Callahan was the Assistant Vice President overseeing infrastructure and security at the Baltimore Life Insurance Company. Mr. Callahan holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems and Business Management from Towson University.
Ahalya Tippa
Group Vice President, Business Systems
Ahalya Tippa joined Tessco in 2025 and currently serves as Group Vice President, Business Systems, bringing more than 15 years of extensive experience in enterprise technology and digital transformation. With a proven track record across ERP, eCommerce, CRM, and analytics platforms, Ms. Tippa has driven impactful change by implementing scalable solutions in both cloud-based and on-premises environments. Prior to joining Tessco, Ms. Tippa held several senior leadership roles across nonprofit, private, and federal sectors, where she led major system modernization initiatives and digital transformation efforts.
Ms. Tippa is known for her strategic vision, collaborative leadership style, and ability to align technology investments with long-term business goals.
