The customer required real-time monitoring and management of their distribution network in order to minimize customer downtime in a cost-effective manner. This included bringing greater visibility of transformers, capacitor banks, reclosures, and other equipment.

Tessco Solution:

Tessco worked with the installation partner in identifying the solution needed to deliver connectivity for the customer’s distribution network. We recommended a cellular modem solution that included all ancillary products. We then kitted and delivered the equipment to the installation partner for a smooth implementation.

The customer now has real-time visibility of their distribution network and can remotely manage and monitor their downline devices. This solution has also reduced truck rolls, which resulted in significant cost savings for the customer.
