Verizon’s LTE fixed wireless access (FWA) for rural locations is now available in parts of 189 markets in 48 states across the U.S. where other Verizon broadband services are not already offered. Launched in July 2020, Verizon’s LTE Home Internet service was accessible in select markets in states including Georgia, Tennessee, and Virginia, and is now available in every state except Alaska and Vermont.
Leveraging Verizon’s 4G LTE network, the LTE Home Internet service continues to grow and provide rural communities access to unlimited data, no data caps, increased capacity, typical download speeds of 25-50 Mbps, and more. The LTE Home Internet service is available for both Verizon and non-Verizon wireless customers and offers an easy self-setup solution, enabling customers to install the router on their own, no professionals or tools required.
