MOBILEACCESS’s 2000 TSX series 700 and 800 MHz public safety dual-service remote unit supports the 700 MHz D-Block and SMR 800 MHz uplink and downlink frequencies. It is to be used with single mode fiber cable and a 4-Port or 8-port service combiner unit. All electrical specs based on use with 4-port service combiner unit (SCU-4). MA2000 TSX performs optical to RF conversion, amplification and filtration on signals received from the Base Unit. These signals are then combined across the Service combiner unit to provide a full multi-service solution across coaxial cable to a broadband antenna. The MA2000 TSX comes pre-packaged with applicable filters and other required accessories to simplify the ability to order, service, and install this solution. The MA2000 platform is the leading multi-operator, multi-service platform, which delivers multiple radio frequency (RF) services over one common and cost-effective cabling and antenna infrastructure for a complete solution. Operator RF services are bi-directionally transmitted (uplink / downlink) between an operator's capacity source (BTS/BDA) at the infrastructure head-end and then distributed to/from remote locations and multiple buildings, using low-loss fiber and coaxial cabling media.
