Transtector's outdoor Gigabit Ethernet/PoE+ injector data surge protector provides protection for your electronic equipment and supports long-term system reliability. It does so by absorbing high amounts of transient energy. This industrial surge protection device for data line applications and helps prevent damage from energy spikes that can be caused by lightning and other strong electrical power.

It uses a shielded RJ45 for connection. It also uses Metal Oxide Varistor (MOV) along with Gas Discharge Tube (GDT) circuits to protect electronic devices from spikes.
