Battery Backup/Charge-DPS

The DuraComm IQ-4 Standby battery “Smart Charger”/Maintainer/Controller monitors the standby battery terminal voltage and adjusts the DPS power supply output voltage depending upon battery state of charge. When the battery is fully charged, the DPS output will drop to a minimum value below the trickle charge which stops any over-charging.. This battery backup is designed to charge the 13.8 VDC DuraComm DPS-15/30/45/55/75 power supplies.

THE IQ-4 is to be used only when the dps is used as a battery charger.
