Westell's ProtectLink Public Safety BDA with a BBC-003 battery cabinet, plus two (2) CS19-PYL12V160FT batteries for 24-hour backup run time. This BDA is an integral part of any NFPA compliant Emergency Responder Communication Enhancement Systems (ERCES) and Emergency Responder Radio Enhancement System (ERRCS). This platform includes 700 - 800 MHz frequency support along with 2.5-watt RF output options. The Class A/B and dual band operation is software license upgradeable.

It includes a full-featured, easy to use web GUI. Also, included is an adjustable frequency filter, intelligent oscillation management, dedicated FirstNet® filter profile, built-in isolation test, NFPA/UL2524 alarm capabilities, built-in annunciator communication link with an optional remote annunciator panel, built-in battery backup circuitry, and accessory outputs for future enhancement to add fiber DAS remotes.
