Integrated UPS Power System with Lithium Battery in Polycarbonate Enclosure
Ventev’s integrated UPS power system is designed to be compatible with Cisco’s industrial IoT networking and data solution product lines. This is a combination of Ventev’s industry-leading UPS power system and Cisco’s secure, fixed, full-Gigabit industrial switching platform. This enables smart city and IoT applications along with easily extending the enterprise in any location.
The polycarbonate enclosed NEMA 3R UPS power system offers a 480-Watt power budget with up to 275-Watts for PoE/PoE+. This is shared across eight (8) ports, to connect PoE powered devices such as IP cameras, phones, access points (APs), sensors, and more. While 205-Watts can be used for a highly modular router making it an ideal solution for remote asset management and future radio upgrades.
The lithium-ion battery provides up to 2 hours of backup power at max load in the event of a power outage. This would support IoT applications such as security, monitoring, and edge computing storage. The battery longevity is 10 years or 2000 cycles.
