Transtector's AC surge protector provides overvoltage protection for your equipment and supports long-term system reliability. It does so by absorbing high amounts of transient energy while maintaining a low clamping voltage. This industrial surge protector for AC helps prevent damage from VAC overvoltage that can be caused by lightning surge and other strong electrical power spikes.

It has a maximum amperage of 130 kA. It uses Silicon Avalanche Suppression Diode (SASD) and Metal Oxide Varistor (MOV) circuits to protect electrical devices from spikes in alternating current power.
