Universal Grounding Kit for 3/8 - 3 in Coax Cables and Elliptical Waveguides, Copper Strap, 60 in Lead

RFS' universal grounding kit is specially designed to accommodate a broad range of transmission line sizes, including elliptical waveguides and coax cables. This helps reduce inventory costs as well as eliminating errors due to incorrectly defined line size. Sizing of the ground strap is accomplished by selecting the correct transmission line size and removing the excess material above the corresponding letter at scribed line.

Designed for reliability, it has been tested to comply with MIL-STD-188-124A and to withstand an excess of 200 kA. The 6 AWG 7-strand copper wire provides an efficient, low-inductance path for safely transferring lightning induced currents from the coax cable to the ground system.

Hardware Kit:

• 3/8 x 1-inch and 1/4 x 1-inch Bolt
• 3/8 and 1/4-inch Nut
• 3/8 and 1/4-inch Lock Washer

Sealing Kit:

• 2.5 x 24-inch Mastic
• 2-inch x 20-foot Electrical Tape

Note: Field installable 1/4 and 3/8-inch 2-hole lug.
